Professional Training

I understand what it takes to get results, because my training comes not only from textbooks, but also from practical knowledge gained through time and experience. I have devoted my professional endeavors to promoting, teaching, motivating, and partnering with people and professioanl organizations to experience the benefits of healthy exercise and eating. This has provided me with experience in functional, post rehab, core stability-agility, sports specific training, and weight loss/gain exercise prescription.

I have led group fitness, weight training, boxercise, functional training and Bootcamp sessions. I firmly believe that sound nutritional guidance is crucial to healthy lifestyle changes and integrate that in my personal training sessions. One size does not fit all, that’s why having individual instruction is vital to success. I tailor a routine that best fits you.

Over the years, my work has been with clients ranging in age from 8 to 90 years old, in a number of health club environments. My high-intensity workouts combine Strength Training, High Intensity Interval training (HIIT), Density Training, and plyometrics in a safe and effective way to get my clients into shape in the shortest time possible. I study endlessly to find the most effective methods and proven ideas to motivate and challenge clients, while still making fitness fun.

My clients cover every end of the spectrum from fitness neophytes to seasoned athletes, and my message is the same with them all – I encourage them to keep moving forward and do their best daily, never giving up on their goals! It is my belief that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to with the right plan. After all – it’s about the journey…

I studied as an International Fitness Professionals Association, (IFPA) Certified Kinesiology Specialist (CKS). I apply unique and highly effective training through “Radial Kinesiology” for the management of back, shoulder and knee pain.

As a Certified Kinesiology Specialist, I apply the study of human movement to enhance corrective training techniques, muscle imbalances and muscle recruitment patterns. As such, I bridge the divide between rehabilitation and fitness.

I am a Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner (R.O.H.P.) through the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants, a legally constituted profession. I introduce guidance pertaining to the building and maintenance of well-being through wholesome dietary habits, and incorporate wholefood supplements. A visit to a Holistic Practitioner is an educational experience where you will learn to make lifestyle changes having a long-lasting effect on the quality of life.

I am also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.) I received training with a strong practical and clinical approach to holistic health, with the aim of preventing disease through natural means from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (C.S.N.N.). I am also a member of the C.S.N.N. Alumni, which provides consistent schooling on wellness and nutrition, proposed legislative changes and verifies a strong code of ethics.

Well rounded experience, with a lot of information! It’s always best to include client feedback, as head knowledge alone does not make a good trainer or health practitioner. You sir, seem to strike a great balance. Refreshing!
